Fryer on Football:
Welcome, football fans, to another exciting week in the National Football League! With Week 7 upon us, it’s time once again for Fryer on Football to preview some of the top showdowns and make our predictions. So, let’s get started!
Monday Night Football:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) vs. Chicago Bears (3-2)
This Monday Night Football matchup features two teams looking to solidify their positions in the NFC playoff race. Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will face off against Justin Fields and the Bears, who are coming off a bye week. Both teams have impressive defenses, so this game could be a low-scoring affair. Our prediction: Buccaneers win, 20-17.
Thursday Night Football:
New York Giants (1-5) vs. Los Angeles Rams (4-2)
Thursday Night Football pits the struggling Giants against the red-hot Rams. Daniel Jones and New York will have their hands full trying to contain Matthew Stafford and company. This one could get ugly, fast. Our prediction: Rams win, 35-10.
Sunday Showdowns:
Green Bay Packers (4-1) vs. New England Patriots (3-3)
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers head to Foxborough for a highly-anticipated showdown with the Patriots. Bill Belichick’s squad is coming off a bye week and will look to bounce back from their Week 6 loss to the Cowboys. This game could come down to which defense can make the key stops. Our prediction: Packers win, 23-17.
Dallas Cowboys (5-1) vs. Miami Dolphins (2-4)
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, currently the league’s only undefeated team, face off against Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. Dallas has been impressive on both sides of the ball, while Miami has shown promise but inconsistency. This could be a statement game for Dallas. Our prediction: Cowboys win, 31-20.
